David Kim…

…is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Toronto, Ontario. He completed his BA in Environmental Design at Ontario’s College for Art and Design (OCAD U). His practice includes mural painting, painting with acrylic, and graphic design.

David seeks to visualize energy, movement, and the cultural influences that shape him as a second generation Korean Canadian. Inspired by the history and culture of Korea that he was never fully immersed in, contrasted with the diversity of growing up in Toronto, David combines imagery and symbolism from both cultures to visualize his unique perspective.

David is well adept to using spray paint. He seeks to create meaningful art that helps bring life and energy to our public and dead spaces.
